Landscape Forms, North America's leading designer and manufacturer of high-design site furniture, structure, lighting and accessories, is proud to announce that the company earned five GREEN GOOD DESIGN® Awards in 2025, recognizing its success in creating solutions that combine elevated design with industry-leading sustainability. Product lines that received GREEN GOOD DESIGN Awards in 2025 include Booth, Americana, Harvest, Outline and Moment.
Presented in collaboration between The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, GREEN GOOD DESIGN is an evolution of the highly regarded GOOD DESIGN™ Award founded in 1950 by Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. to foster a greater public understanding and acceptance for Modern Design. GREEN GOOD DESIGN aims to bring parallel public appreciation for an equally revolutionary design approach, honoring projects and solutions that make great strides in repairing worldwide environments with sustainability and for total ecological restoration.
Landscape Forms’ winners of the 2025 GREEN GOOD DESIGN Awards span the company’s portfolio, recognizing innovation in form, materiality and technology integration and encompassing both its site furnishing and lighting solutions.
Booth, a solution that takes the comfort and intimacy of a widely enjoyed indoor seating experience and reimagines it for the outdoors, was recognized both for its innovative use of sustainable material and its ability to elevate people's connections to nature. Designed to create biophilic social spaces that are fresh yet familiar, the line utilizes dassoXTR Fused Bamboo®, a novel approach to outdoor wood that's incredibly stable and durable, elegantly dark in color, and is highly sustainable with low environmental impact due to the fast-growing, rapidly renewable nature of bamboo.
Americana lounge chairs and Harvest communal tables and seating, two lines created in collaboration with Landscape Forms' sister brand Loll Designs, were lauded for their ability to achieve elegant modern form and robust public space durability with the extensive use of recycled material. Both lines bring new life to pre- and post-consumer recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a widely used material found in single-use plastic milk jugs and countless other practical applications that's renowned for longevity, durability and lack of maintenance. Saving this valuable resource from wasting away in landfills, solutions like Americana and Harvest have enabled Loll to divert and recover over 135 million milk jugs to date for use in site furnishings.
Outline and Moment, two lighting families marked by their modern, elegant and sustainability-focused design, were each celebrated for the way they mitigate the harmful human and ecological impacts of light pollution. A visually compelling reinterpretation of the familiar light column, Outline features International Dark-Sky Approval, a third-party certification that confirms the luminaires avoid glare, avoid over lighting, utilize dimming and other appropriate lighting controls, and minimize blue short-wavelength to combat light pollution. Also International Dark-Sky Approved, the Moment lighting family features full cutoff across its entire range of area, accent, wall-mounted and catenary lights, ensuring high angle glare is minimized and no light is cast at or above 90° to prevent any upward illumination that could contribute to light polluting skyglow.
