Designing a Better Future Together
ASLA 2022 Conference Preview
Our schedules are set, our samples are packed… and we can't wait to head out west to our industry's most important annual gathering, the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture! The conference will take place November 11 - 14 in San Francisco, CA.
The setting and central gathering place for ASLA 2022 is San Francisco's Moscone Center, an inspiring destination for landscape architects and shining example of the city's commitment to environment and sustainability. Following a substantial expansion in 2019, the Moscone Center became the nation's first convention center to receive LEED Platinum certification, scoring top marks for its innovative wastewater technologies, water use reduction, water efficient landscaping, and the largest rooftop solar panel array in San Francisco.
Joining over 300 industry-leading exhibitors in the Moscone Center's sprawling subterranean halls, we've assembled a catalogue-spanning collection of our latest, most innovative and most popular site furnishing and lighting solutions to showcase at the EXPO. Smack dab in the middle of Hall B at Booth #1243, our 2022 showcase centers around Backdrop, our newest adaptable structure solution, and all the ways it artfully defines space outdoors. A common thread throughout the whole booth, Backdrop effortlessly meshes with other featured products from our portfolio to create zones for working, meeting, and socializing.
Framing the space and capturing the attention of passersby are additional product families showcased beneath the glow of our extensive Lighting Feature. Quartz Planters by Kornegay are strong, anchoring elements that blend the natural world with modern architectural elements. Take-Out Tables represent the latest in our exploration of adaptable connected seating while also debuting an upcoming powdercoat color palette refresh. The Lighting Feature is a highlight, both literally and figuratively, of our 2022 product showcase including products like Typology, Gunnar, and SHUFFLE.
Accompanying us right next door in Booth #1343 is our brand Loll Designs with a playful showcase entitled "Lollygagging in San Francisco." The booth offers a preview of upcoming offerings while paying homage to the City of San Francisco with graphic elements that celebrate its hippie past and iconic architecture.
As you stroll throughout the EXPO halls, also be sure to keep an eye out for the Landscape Architecture Foundation in Booth #832. Pull up a stool at one of our Chipman Bar Height Tables and learn more about the research, scholarships, leadership programs, and generous support the LAF provides for our industry.
